A concrete batching plant is an integrated mechanical equipment unit specialized in the production and processing of concrete. Its production raw materials include not only cement, sand, gravel, fly ash and other basic materials, but also a range of additives such as retarders, water reducers, release agents and antifreeze agents. Certain key points must be noted in the management of these raw materials during the production process.
For the sand and gravel silos of a concrete batching plant, sand and gravel of different specifications shall be stored in separate silos with clear labels indicating the raw material name, type, specification, place of origin and date of purchase. The warehouse keeper shall assign a unified serial number to each sand and gravel silo, draw a zoning map of the entire stockyard, and then notify the laboratory, central control room and loader operators respectively. The warehouse keeper shall also cooperate with the above personnel to confirm the silo numbers on the batching scales and record all storage information.
For powder materials including cement, fly ash and superfine powder, the warehouse keeper of the batching plant shall assign a unified serial number to each raw material silo. Each silo shall be labeled with the name, place of origin, type and specification of the raw material it stores. The feed inlet of each silo shall be marked with the same information as the silo itself, including the material type, specification, place of origin, date of purchase and stock quantity. The feed inlet of each silo shall be locked and managed by a designated person for feeding operations. When powder materials are delivered to the warehouse, the receiving personnel and the supplier's personnel must jointly check and sign for confirmation before opening the silo. This is to prevent feeding errors that may lead to quality accidents.
Bulk bagged powder admixtures shall be stacked neatly in the warehouse with signboards indicating the name, type, specification, place of origin and date of purchase. Liquid admixtures shall be stored separately according to different manufacturers and types with clear and distinct identification marks.
